ISMM Group welcomes a new family member: ISMM & Jan Bacho a.s.
At the beginning of October 2021, the company ISMM acquired the enterprise Strojírna Jan Bacho, a.s. with the seat in Dívčí Hrad. The chairman of the board became Mr. Miloslav Cváček, and the company was renamed ISMM & Jan Bacho a.s.
Concerning 100 people that the company employs, it was the most significant acquisition in the ISMM Group’s history. Right now, more than 500 employees are working in the whole ISMM Group.
The primary focus of ISMM & Jan Bacho is job-order production for foreign customers from the industrial and automotive branches. With regard to the available technologies, the company provides material handling, welding, boring, and surface treatment. The company’s showpiece is the top-class CNC horizontal boring center that can bore components with a length up to 12m. In a short time, the machine park will be enriched with a new fiber laser 4 kW and a new press brake bending machine 3m and 135 tons.
